Commissioner, Ms. Prachi Pandey, IA&AS
Dear Teachers,
Heartfelt wishes on Teachers’ Day 2025.
A teacher is much more than a guide in academics; they are the architect of a child’s future. From helping a child trace the first alphabet to guiding them through life’s important decisions, teachers walk every step with patience, empathy, and support. They shape not just minds, but values, dreams, and aspirations that define the destiny of our nation.

Ms Shahida Parveen
Deputy Commissioner
Mrs. Shahida Parveen Deputy Commissioner KVS RO, Bhopal Message Dear Students, Parents, Teachers, and the Entire Kendriya Vidyalaya Family, Warm greetings to all. It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Bhopal Region. This platform serves not only as a hub of information and resources but also as a reflection of our shared educational values, vision, and commitment. I am delighted to share this message as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Bhopal Region, under the guidance of KVS (HQ) New Delhi, continues to strive towards setting the highest standards of excellence in the field of national education. In a culturally diverse nation like India, education is not merely a medium of knowledge but also a vehicle for social harmony, moral values, and a strong sense of duty towards the nation. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was established by the Government of India in 1963 with the objective of providing quality, consistent, and uninterrupted education to the children of defence personnel, paramilitary forces, central government employees, and other transferable staff. Today, KVS has evolved into a powerful educational network not only in India but also abroad, where lakhs of students are being nurtured by thousands of teachers who are committed to imparting knowledge, values, and life skills. India’s National Education Policy (NEP 2020) calls for a transformational shift in the educational system. It focuses not only on curriculum and examination reforms but emphasizes inclusive, multidisciplinary, and student-centric learning. In alignment with the guiding principles of NEP 2020, KVS has initiated several key reforms, such as: • Implementation of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) at the primary level • Promotion of multilingual education • Integration of art and sports into classroom learning • Focus on 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and digital literacy All these initiatives aim to prepare students not only for examinations but for life. Our dedicated teachers are not just providers of knowledge; they are mentors, guides, and motivators. Their role extends beyond the classroom as they inspire curiosity, promote self-learning, and shape students into responsible citizens. Through continuous training programs, workshops, and innovation, our teachers are committed to keeping their teaching practices updated and effective. We are proud to have such devoted educators working tirelessly for the bright future of our children. Students of KVS are recognized across the country for their academic achievements, discipline, and ethical values. Their outstanding performance in board examinations, and their excellence in fields like science, sports, arts, and culture, along with their participation in national and international forums, bring us immense pride. We strive to identify and nurture each student’s unique talents and interests, providing opportunities that allow them to reach their full potential. The focus in our schools has shifted from rote learning to holistic development. This is the era of digital revolution, and education is no exception. During the COVID-19 pandemic, KVS made commendable strides in adopting technology for online learning. We effectively implemented e-content, virtual classrooms, teacher-generated digital resources, and platforms like SWAYAM. We continue to work towards making teaching and learning more engaging, inclusive, and impactful through the integration of technology. In addition, our schools are promoting innovation through ATL (Atal Tinkering Labs), Coding Clubs, and Robotics Workshops, encouraging students to think creatively and solve real-world problems. KVS emphasizes transparency, accountability, and community participation in its academic and administrative activities. Parent participation in school management committees, regular open meetings, and feedback mechanisms help us strengthen and refine our operations. We urge all parents to actively participate in school activities, maintain regular communication with teachers, and provide a positive and supportive environment for their children at home. Our vision is not limited to academic excellence but extends to building an education system that: • Prepares students to become global citizens • Cultivates empathy, sensitivity, and compassion • Inspires innovation and entrepreneurship • Instills pride in India’s rich cultural heritage while embracing modern technology We aim to ensure that our schools uphold the triad of “Knowledge, Character, and Service” and contribute meaningfully to building an educated, empowered, and prosperous India. In conclusion, I would like to encourage all students to embrace hard work, discipline, and self-confidence in the pursuit of their dreams. Every challenge is an opportunity, and every failure is a stepping stone to success. To our teachers, I hope you continue to play a meaningful role in enriching the lives of your students. To our parents, I request your continued support in shaping a strong and capable future for our children. Let us all work together to create an educational environment where every student grows into a proud, capable, and compassionate citizen, dedicated to serving the nation. Thank you. Warm regards. Mrs Shahida Parveen Deputy Commissioner KVS Bhopal Region

Principal
A child is an innocent baby. What we feed to our children is how they grow to be. Their growth not only depends on how we nourish them but also how we interact, behave and keep relations with them. If we remain smiling and fulfil our duties & responsibilities properly, definitely a Child will also remain cheerful and devoted to his work that may be games, studies or any other.. Children are the mirror of a family; the reflect the values of their parents, family and the social environment where they live. Like food, the education, which is imparted to the students during the first 5-6 years of their schooling in fact, decides their future. It is only during these formative years that the students learn basic operations of Mathematics and four skills of language learning viz. listening, speaking, reading, and writing. They also start learning how to behave and to give responses to the people interacting in the Society. If the child is equipped with skills of language learning up to class V-his/her grip on EVS and Mathematics will automatically get stronger. Each student should be in position to read newspaper of English and Hindi by the time of passing class V. All the teachers should ensure that CMP (Common Minimum Programme) is followed in language, EVS and Mathematics up to class V. Only then, we can hope for the bright future of the students of KVS. The students who become slow learners in middle and secondary stages lose their interest in studies due to their poor grip on languages and basic operations in Mathematics. Imagine a student who knows how to add but he cannot do the sum of addition where verbal input is given in the form of a statement. Non-understanding of the concepts due to poor knowledge of languages further frustrates the students who don’t fare well in academics and ultimately important human resources are made non-productive by the existing educational systems. Vidyalaya has been divided into Four Houses -STAR i.e. SHIVAJI, TAGORE, ASHOK and RAMAN. Now a good friendly competition helps you to remain fit and Fine. A Step to a New Destination is Always strewn with Precautions and Examining our Efforts, Attitude, Interest and Capabilities.
